NEPA Wine Country

More than 250 people gathered at downtown Williamsport's historic Pajama Factory on Saturday, August 8, 2009 to celebrate the city's vibrant arts scene and our region's growing wine industry at NEPA Wine Country's exciting new urban event -- the Williamsport Arts & Wine Festival 2009. Held in the courtyard and throughout the ground floor and second floor of the renovated factory complex, this exciting one-day event featured seven Pennsylvania wineries, food stands, live entertainment all day, and a wide assortment of local artists, art galleries, and arts organizations, plus locally-produced specialty foods, handcrafted items, jewelry, and more. A portion of the festival's proceeds went to support Williamsport's Public Art Academy -- Enhancing and Enriching Communities through Public Art and Educational Initiatives.
